Chester Beer Festival

Following the success of last year’s event, the Chester Beer Festival returns to the iconic Town Hall for a second year running. Run by volunteers from the CAMRA West Cheshire branch, the festival will feature more than 36 quality real ales and 12 ciders from local breweries, and the best from beyond.Tickets available to purchase in advance via Tckty.

Puccini’s Madama Butterfly by North Wales Opera Company

North Wales Opera returns to its Chester ‘home’ to present Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. Anne Williams-King (Director of North Wales Opera) travelled the globe singing the title role in this opera to great acclaim and has directed a beautifully traditional portrayal of this opera. It takes a heart of stone not to be moved by the great tragedy of this story, which is so enriched by the composition. Everyone will have heard the humming chorus and the “Un bel di” (One fine day).
